These companies built many luxury, economic, and sports car models for users in America and worldwide. In the latter half of the 20th century Japanese companies such as Toyoda and Honda dominated the industry. In the 20th century cars become a basic necessity of all adults. The banking industry made money by financing the purchases of cars. Cars in the 20th century became more sophisticated and attractive for buyers.
